Summer in the Fuller House has taken on a whole new meaning. We have been enjoying our new boat and living most weekends and many weeks in South Haven. We have had many visitors and have enjoyed spending so much time with them. I must admit that when John approached me with this "Hey lets buy another boat" idea I was less the thrilled. Not that I didn't love the boat that we had before but I wasn't really feeling like this was such a great time for us to buy. I'm not sure how I feel on that subject still but I will say that we've had the best summer. There are no words to describe how sitting under a shade tree with my kindle and a breeze coming off the lake feels. I don't have any pictures of me doing this (maybe I will have John take some this weekend while we are there) but I'm sure you get the point.

I've tried to get pictures of all of our guest when they are with us.
This is my Uncle Carl with John. I must say that Uncle Carl and Aunt Debbie's visit with us will probably be the most memorable one of the season as we got stuck in a big storm while we were out. Everyone was safe and we all have a great story to share but I do have to admit that it was a little scary. These pictures were all taken before the storm hit.
 Shenira, Aunt Debbie and Gabe
My sister Jennifer and her family came to visit with us so that I could take their family pictures. After the picture taking was finished we headed out for some fun on the lake. Gabe loves to go to the duns so we took the kids there. This picture of Hayden is one of my favorites. He is all set for his boat ride and swim. Never can be to over prepared!
 Jen, Haley & Mike
Gabe showing everyone how he rolls in getting off the boat. CANNON BALL!!!
This is the kids going up the duns all three boys Gabe, Hayden and Harrison all made it to the very top. Haley did pretty good and made it more than half way up along with Aunt Jen.
Kids coming back down to swim back to the boat.

This kid is so hard to get a good picture of he is all 10 year old boy. But if you can get him when he doesn't know it. You get amazing shots like this one.
Harrison on the other hand is a whole different story. That boy will smile for you anytime. He came and stayed with us for a whole week and we had so much fun with him. I have to tell you that he is the best kid to take because he NEVER talks!
 Uncle John with Hayden
I think one of the most amazing things about being in South Haven is that you never see the same sunset twice. This is where God beauty is indescribably. Every sunset is all it's own. We love going down in the evening to watch the sunsets and the kids love to swim. This is also my most favorite time to take pictures.

Okay here all I have to say is she is to cute for words. She loved the water and the beach and taking pictures of her is much fun.
One thing is for sure I don't think a single one of us can tell you that we haven't had any fun this summer. These are a few of my favorite pictures of Gabe this summer. That boy will do this for hours...run & jump....run & jump and on and on.

I've taken a lot of pictures of the Seagulls. They aren't my favorite bird as they are so messy but they are fun to photograph. I will also say that after my last beach experience they are even less my favorite bird. Especially the one that decided that pooping on my head, neck and shoulder would be a good idea. Yeah not so much my idea of fun. But it did make for a good laugh.

Gabe and Ethan found this fence and posed as Lion Statues the funny part was that after we did this we walked around the corner and found a house with these in the front. This was totally Gabe's idea and let me tell you the kid has an imagination!
My Brother Josh, his girlfriend Darci and Ethan have also been to see us this year. I took some last minute maternity shots of Darci before the baby came and a few family shots with just the 3 of them. Gabe decided that he wanted to be in a few shots with Ethan. This one below is one of my favorites. These two are only 6 months apart. Gabe being the oldest.

Remember how I said I still wasn't to sure how I felt about the purchase of our boat? Well when I see these two pictures of my husband it makes me feel like we did the right thing. Life is NOT ever easy for him and when I get to see him smile like this oh man it is so worth it. Our boat is such a love for him and when I get to watch him like this is just melts my heart.

This picture was taken from the South Beach at the top of the hill. I hurt my leg one weekend while we were there and I couldn't get down all the steps so I stayed on top while John went down to the beach with the kids. This was one of those sunsets that were really pretty and I was able to capture this shot of the Light House. I think this is my favorite one of it.
We've gotten in lots of swim time this summer with as hot as it's been. If you remember Gabe's Cannon Ball from earlier you can now see where he get's it from. My husband is nothing but and over grown child when we are out on the boat and I love it!

Yep, see what I mean about that smile.
This is Butch and I think he loves the boat more than all of us. We've had a few close calls with getting him on and off the boat in our slip but all has worked out. He LOVES going for rides and just being with all of us. He's been a pretty good boy but we have found out that the heat makes him a little touchy just like it does for some of us humans.
This is one of those pictures that I've taken right at Sunset. I love the glow I get in every picture that is taken at this time of day. I also love the model!

This was probably the best day at the lake for Butch. John and Dustin got him off the back of the boat and they took him to shore. He climbed the duns with Gabe and then they raced each other back down to the water. Butch ended up with a face full of dirt and they had to give him a bath in the lake but other than that all was good and all were happy.
So if you have made it this far you can for sure see that this summer has been a blast so far. If you haven't been out to see us and gotten your boat ride we're still waiting, give us a call!!!!
I hope that all of you are enjoying your summer as much as we are. Happy Summer everyone!
