Okay, Okay, He's Seven

Gabe's 7th birthday started of with Daddy making him pancakes & bacon, Then Gabe and Mommy went out to lunch, little did he know that there was a few extra people to meet him to share his big day. We had a surprise party for him at his favorite restaurant. Kati, Chelsey & Caleb came all the way from ONU to surprise Gabe. He was so excited to see them all there.

He got a really cool volcano from Dave and Kelly and lots of sweets from Chelsey and Kati. He pretty much loved the volcano as if you couldn't tell.

Kumo's is such a great place to go. This was my first time there as Gabe has always gone with Kelly for lunch when I'm working. I loved watching Gabe's excitement as the guy cooked everything right in front of you.

He made his own Volcano out of onions which was pretty sweet. Gabe is going to see if the one he got can do this!

After the chef had cooked everything up he started throwing Broccoli at Gabe for him to catch in his mouth like popcorn. Gabe got one of them and amazingly I got it on camera.

Then it was time for the pros. Kati and Chelsey were both pretty amazing at doing this. They both ended up with a big ole' mouth full!

I love how Caleb is looking at Chelsey like "what the heck are you doing Auntie Chel?"

Time for Happy Birthday Song and a little treat.

Gabe sharing his treat with his best buddy Caleb.

Kelly with her two favorite boys!

Part Two of Birthday fun we took Gabe to Airway Lanes to have some fun with Brothers and Sister. The weather ended up being perfect! Gabe wanted to ride the Go Karts with his big brother Tony and being the good big brother that he is Tony was happy to have a ride along. After Go Karts we headed inside so that the kids could play in the Arcade. The kids gave all of there tickets to Gabe and he was able to get a little stuffed mouse.
After the arcade Mom, Gabe & Shenira took a spin on the bumper boats. This was so much fun. I loved watching Gabe's smile every time he hit Shenira or I.
Part Three of Birthday day fun was a walk down to feed the fish, a stop to Speedway for a slushy & then to the Park for the best underdogs and fun on the Monkey bars.
On our way home from the park John and the kids were looking at some fish and I couldn't resist getting this photo.
This is our big seven year old. Gabe, Mom and Dad love you so much and we are so glad that you had such a good time on your birthday. You are growing so fast and I'm amazed at how big you are. I love you heart and the way that you always want to help and serve others. Love you little man. Love, Mom

Smurf Birthday Party March 30th

We love birthday's at our house! Gabe's decided that for his birthday this year that he wanted to have a Smurf Birthday. We invited family and friends and had a great time Pinning the hat on the Smurf (thanks to his big brother Jordon for drawing the Smurf) & playing dodge ball.
He got the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie from Nana and Papa and if you can't tell he was just a little excited about it. We've watched it several times since this night!
This is my favorite picture of him with the cake he was pretending to eat it all up! Seriously love this kid!
Can't blow out the candles without making a wish!
And what Smurf birthday would be complete without a little Blue Moon Ice Cream!
Being the reasonable Mama that I am I will be in denial about him turning Seven until his actual birthday so until then he is still just SIX!

The Scarlet Pimpernel

Saving the best for last. Jordon's performed in his last high school play in March. They did the Scarlet Pimpernel and I have to tell you that this was by far the best play that he has ever been in. He of course was amazing as always, but the other cast members in this production were also wonderful. I've posted just a few of my favorite shots from the night.

Jordon, Dad and I are very proud of your acting talent and can't wait to see where you will be lead to next!
